“Vehicle Upfit for Mission Success”

The Federal Prison Industries (FPI) Three Rivers, TX, facility provides mission-ready vehicles to Federal Law Enforcement Agencies. Our factory comprises 29,000 square feet, with a satellite operation of approximately 7,000 square feet. We also have a warehouse where we receive and store raw materials. With 15 civilian staff members and more than 300 inmate employees, FPI Three Rivers was able to upfit and ship hundreds of vehicles during 2003, including vans, buses, utility trucks, trailers, sedans, pickups and more.

We currently have five van upfit packages and four bus packages, all designed for maximum security. The cargo vans are available in Short and XL series with security insert cages; passenger vans are upfitted with security screens and other accessories. All buses are manufactured by Thomas and Blue Bird and can accommodate 22-45 passengers. All security packages are designed and installed at Three Rivers.
