The FPI Bastrop Upfitting operation supplies customers with customized solutions to any commercial vehicle upfit requirement.
The tools and equipment to get the job done
The FPI Bastrop workforce are fully trained to operate state-of-the-art machinery and equipment located throughout the facility. Most of the mechanical tools are powered by a 300 gallon air compressor that pumps 92 to 110 psi, delivered to all work bays via drop lines. Each production area is supplied with standard automotive tools and equipment, and the facility also has:
- Fully vented and certified drive-in paint booth/dryer
- A Hobart Betamig 250 welder
- Tig wave welder
- Miller Syncrowave 350 welder
- Lincoln Ideal arc 250 welder
- Six Millermatic Mig 250 welders
- 50 amp Plasma cutter
- 55 amp plasma cutter
- Two upright belt grinders
- Bentec 300 benders
- 5-point iron worker
- 6" break press
- 10" sheer
- Pipe cutting band saw
- Walk-in powder coat paint booth
- Walk-in powder coat bake oven
