LAUNDRY

In the areas surrounding Eglin Air Force Base, Florida, Maxwell AFB, Alabama, and Fort Bliss, Texas, UNICOR provides laundry and dry cleaning services for Defense, Justice and other Federal agencies. And environmental concerns play a major role in the manner in which these services are furnished.

All detergents, bleaches, and dry cleaning fluids are EPA approved. Oxygen-rich, rather than chlorine-based, products are used to prolong the life of fabrics. All used cleaning agents are captured and properly disposed of. To save electricity, the water from the last rinse loads is sent through a heat exchanger to warm clean laundry water.
