UNICOR's Recycling Business Group (RBG) offers competitively-priced electronics recycling which meets all federal, state and local requirements. If an item cannot be re-used, it is broken down into recyclable component parts. The RBG's goal is to recycle or resell every part received, including cathode ray tubes.

UNICOR recycling factories are ISO 9001:2008 certified by the International Standards Organization; a quality assurance program to ensure that all operations perform at consistent quality levels. UNICOR recycling factories will soon be ISO 14001 (Environmental Management) and OHSAS 18001 (Occupational Health and Safety) certified. Currently, seven processing centers and eight collection sites are located throughout the country. During Fiscal Year 2011, the RBG processed approximately 40 million pounds of obsolete and excess electronics from both the public and private sectors which saved precious landfill space, energy, and resources, by reusing residual materials in lieu of mining virgin commodities.
